A year with Picasso, Miró and Dalí: The great Spanish masters of the 20th century

The first exhibition presented by the Itinerary Network of the Community of Madrid is: ‘Picasso, Miró, Dalí. The great Spanish masters of the 20th century. Graphic work’. Here you will find all the information about this essential appointment.

The Red Itinery is a collaborative platform between the Community of Madrid and the City Councils to spread our cultural heritage through temporary exhibitions. This exhibition on Picasso, Miró and Dalí is the first one of 2021. And we have a whole year to enjoy it, as it will travel around the Community of Madrid until December.

This exhibit brings together the work of these three great geniuses of Spanish 20th century art: Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró and Salvador Dalí. The exhibition shows the talent of these great masters as engravers through 40 original prints.

The exhibition is articulated through different series of engravings by these three artists, and it captures the authentic revolution that Spanish art of the 20th century was, investigating new formats and ways of expression. The different techniques used by the authors are examined in depth, specially the ways in which they created some of the the best Spanish printmaking pieces of recent times.
